How to get a husband

There are actual photo's for this blog, just precious advice from our beautiful Sophie (4yrs 2mths).

Let me set the scene - we are in Emerald after gymnastics, just finished lunch and a run of the supermarket and we are heading back home. I'm driving and Sophie is in the front beside me chatting away non stop (as she does) here is where her theory on "how to get a husband" evolves

Sophie “mummy I am having a baby, can you feel it moving in my tummy?” she puts my hand on her tummy as we drive.
Me “well you probably shouldn’t have a baby now because you are 4…”
Sophie “ok well I might when I’m 8” (8 is her mystical number where you can have all those grown up things)
Me “perhaps 28 might be a good time to have a baby and perhaps you could get a husband first then have a baby? don't you think that is a good idea?”
Sophie “I might get Marv for my husband”
Me “Marv’s your brother so he can’t be your husband”
Sophie “well I might marry Callan”
Me “No dopey Callan is your brother too you can’t marry either of your brothers. You really should get a husband that is not your brother or your daddy or already someone else’s husband”
Sophie “Ok" pause "well I might let Ashlee help me get a husband”
Me “that sounds like a good idea, I am sure Ashlee would love to help you get a husband when you are 28 Darling”

Sophie “Yep, Ashlee will be good because she helped you get daddy at your wedding"

Me "what do you mean? how did Ashlee help me get daddy?"

Sophie "Ashlee was at your wedding and in the photo's and she was your helper, she helpered you get daddy so I want her to help me to get my husband!"

And that folks is how easy it is to get yourself a husband!
