Finally the moment was here, the cutting of the chocolate on chocolate with double chocolate cake and it was GOOD!

You would think Nick and I would have learnt by now that you don't give Sophie too much information in advance! We told her when she went to bed on Saturday night that when she woke in the morning it would be Fathers Day. She had Nick's card and gifts in her bedroom in readiness for daddy's special day - Well at 6.46am (to be exact) Sophie Fleurbay came running into our room with a leap and jump onto Nick, offered him his gifts, then asked could we have cake now!

We fobbed her off for 15 minutes, then it was day on!. Now Nick and I are a bit slow first up in the morning (unlike our daughter) so can you imagine what it was like sitting up to Sophie' rendition of "Happy Fathers Day to you" (candles and all) then a slab of chocolateondoublechocolatecake!
